| AlpiWatt is composed
by different tables, easily accessible from the main Menu.
The dimensioning of a system with AlpiWatt is simple and precise.
It is done by the user, that inputs all the parameters involved in
the technical and economic evaluation of the plant.
These parameters include:
• Electrical user points
• Available sources of energy with relative amount
• The systems for energy production
• The economic parameters for the appraisal of the economic
convenience of the designed solution. This evaluation is achieved
by means of the calculation of economic indexes as the Internal Return
Rate (IRR), the Net Present Value (NPV) and the cost of used kWh.
The simple interaction user/software and the thoroughness of the parameters
taken in consideration by the program, make the dimensioning of the
system reliable and precise, under the condition that the data inputed
by the user are correct.
To understand how a system works, AlpiWatt simulates its performances.
The model saves the files in SIM format (the owner format of the program.
After having done a simulation, it is possible to visualize some results,
through the appropriate Menu.
The parameters that the software allows to visualize are:
• Produced energy per month
• Consumed energy per month
• Energetic balance
• State of charge of batteries
• Deficit hours per day
• Energy balance for a period
• Economic evaluation
It is possible to visualize diagrams, to have an immediate visual
approach of the convenience and the efficiency of the system. All
the parameters can be saved in a .PRN format file, that can be opened
by Microsoft Excel, for further elaboration and production of reports.
